Amadoi della Grondaia
Our story

The same gutter, in Japanese.

Amadoi means rain gutter: the name was chosen on the first day, hearing the rain in the alley.

How it began

One family, one room, sushi made to order.

First a small takeaway counter, then a sixty-cover room: Amadoi grew with the neighbourhood.

Six people work in the kitchen; the fish arrives every morning and the rice is cooked several times a day. Even in the all-you-can-eat formula, every dish is made when you order it.

Takeaway stayed: you order on WhatsApp and pick up at the counter, at the time you chose.
